Every week day a child has heart surgery. 1 in 100 children born in NZ have a heart condition. My son is one of them. Heart Children New Zealand has helped many families like us who have had time in hospital for heart surgery.
On 7 July a team of 20 from Auckland Council's Stormwater Unit will do the Tough Guy and Gal 2013 6km muddy challenge. We're raising $ for @Heart (Heart Children NZ) - we are all kids at heart who like mud and challenge. @Heart helps heart kids and families through the biggest of challenges.
