Purchase and install predator traps in the Iris Burn Valley. Whilst DOC wholly support our initiative they are unable to fund our project.

Auckland

We are a group of friends and acquaintances, who share a common connection to the Auckland University Tramping Club (AUTC). We are outdoors oriented and care about our natural environment and want to actively protect it.

After years of enjoying tramping and mountaineering around NZ coastlines, up river valleys, through forests and across mountains, we now want to help make real progress towards a predator free Aotearoa.

We have 'adopted' the beautiful Upper Iris Burn Valley in Fiordland. We need your help to fundraise for the purchase of automated traps, and realise our goal of re-creating an abundance of native species back into the valley, free from predators.
