Our Foundation will help you create a living legacy

The New Zealand Nature Fund's primary role is to facilitate opportunities for individuals and businesses to contribute towards conserving New Zealand’s natural heritage — its landscapes and the native plants and animals that live among them.
We do this by investing in future-focused conservation projects that make our world a better place. New Zealand is a world leader in conservation and species management, renowned for its innovations, operations and techniques.
We are good at saving species — the Chathams Island robin, takahe- , kakapo, kokako, kiwi — and we are good at preserving and restoring habitats. One of the biggest challenges New Zealand faces is funding.
The New Zealand Nature Fund is the new operating name for the NZ National Parks & Conservation Foundation, which has been supporting conservation projects for the last 20 years. The New Zealand Nature Fund raises and manages funds for projects that halt the decline, protect and fully restore Aotearoa New Zealand's wild places, strategically and at scale, for generations to come.
