The Big Chop for Charity

I just want the best for New Zealand's kids - whether it's helping feed them, clothe them or helping them afford the treatment they need because they're sick. I just want to help.

I've also always wanted to shave my hair off - I know that might sound strange, but it's just something I've wanted to do in my lifetime.

I have a lot of hair - and it's definitely a huge part of who I am; but I've always been curious to know what happens when I take the hair away.

So many people out there have no choice when they lose their hair - whether its because they are going through chemotherapy, or because they have alopecia or another reason.

I know I am fortunate to have a choice.

And because I have a large following on social media, I wanted to use this opportunity to raise as much money as possible to help some Kiwi kids out.

I have chosen three charities which are all close to my heart - KidsCan, Heart Kids New Zealand and the Child Cancer Foundation.

Whatever proceeds I raise (after the fees are taken out), the amount will be split 3 ways and donated to the above charities.

If you'd like to donate, please do so - ALL funds raised (less the admin fees) will go direct to charity. None of it will go to me (and rightly so).

PS I have been asked a lot why i'm not growing my hair out and donating the locks - I looked into this but I a) colour my hair and b) have too many greys in one spot for my hair to be considered.
