I'm cutting my hair to form a wig for those in need! I would really appreciate your support - all funds go towards Cancer Society!

Dunedin, Otago

It’s time for someone more deserving to love my hair!!! In May, I will be cutting off 14inches (35cm) of my hair to form a wig, through Freedom Wigs NZ. Known as “The Chop”, I am hoping to provide a wig for someone who will love my hair even more than I do.

Alongside “The Chop” I have decided to raise money for Cancer Society - a network that provides transport, accommodation, care programmes, counselling and most importantly support to individuals and their whānau. I have decided to donate to both Otago/Southland & Hawkes Bay Cancer Society.

I have been actively donating and fundraising for CanTeen & Cancer Society for the last 5 years, ever since my dad was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. After undergoing chemotherapy, everything has been progressing well with regular negative tests. I understand this isn’t the case for everyone, hence why I’m doing my part to help those who need it.

Some people may know that I have done a similar fundraiser in 2019, raising over $1,000 - THANK YOU!!! Now that my hair has grown back it’s time to do it all again, 4 years later.

Thank you for all your love & support. I hope together we can smash the goal of raising $1,000. All the donations will go directly to Otago & Hawkes Bay Cancer Society.
