The Mount Everest challenge/ Mount Maunganui.

It's all happening this morning , there's a race on with competitors running up and over then around the Mount . A tent and Finnish line greet us at the base with runners tearing past at a great rate of knots , more than I could summon on my best day .

I'm joined by and it's a real pleasure to have Grant and Ali accompany me on this climb . The climb up was one that with the chatter amongst us went way to fast and there was a group at the summit cheering the runners , they also gave me a rousing cheer ( I prompted them 😊).

I should add we also had some heavy rain at times on the climb , kinda bookended this challenge given I started day one in rain and finnished on day 44 wet.

More groups on the way down and some wonderful colourful lady's at the bottom shared a moment with me .

This challenge has been just that and I've loved it .

Climb number 38 is now consigned to history, as is for me the 2018 Mount Everest challenge.
