Pushing up for mental health
Auckland
I'm doing 3,214 push-ups in 23 days as part of The Push-Up Challenge to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia. This target represents the 3,214 people who died by suicide in Australia in 2023 (the most recent stats). For everyone back home, I’ll be doing an extra 617 push-ups over the 23 days for all those lost to suicide in New Zealand in 2024. That’s a total of 3,831 push-ups in 23 days. You can push for better mental health too by donating to support this important cause.
Funds raised will go to The Push For Better Foundation and NZ Mental Health Foundation to support much-needed mental health services and initiatives in Australia and New Zealand. Any donation, big or small, is really appreciated!
