Tina's Mt Cargill Challenge

"As a new wellness walker who wants to improve her own fitness and self-confidence, Tina is doing an amazing job of setting herself personal challenges and asking sponsors to put donations towards good causes. This way she motivates herself to improve her own health and wellbeing while doing a good deed at the same time. Last year she climbed Mt Cargill and raised money for Tedz4theKids. Tina is keen for money raised to go towards improving the Health & Safety of the group through the purchase of a second personal locator beacon ($324), "because it's something that could save a life!" In the spirit of this goal, WWT will also prioritise any additional money raised towards other safety-oriented purchases, such as hi visibility vests for event marshals and better first aid supplies for the walks.
