100 days 100 runs. Raising money for Cystic Fibrosis and awareness around government funding of Trikafta.
Nationwide
At the start of this year, I set out to run 100 days in a row. Rain, shine, snow or a thick hangover I have been out there pounding the pavement. For the last 25 days, I am raising money for a cause that is close to my heart. Cystic Fibrosis is a debilitating condition that makes day to day life more difficult than your average. In saying that, Cystic Fibrosis New Zealand does a stand-up job of making life a little bit easier for those living with CF.
The goal is to raise 750.00 dollars as I aim to complete 750kms. Having clocked up 500km already that only leaves me with a measly 10km a day from here on in, no worries. Follow my progress on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/tomruns100/ and chuck a few dollars at a good cause if you can.
To go above and beyond and be an absolute star you can also head over and sign the petition requesting Pharmac to fund Trikafta, a drug that has been shown to significantly increase the quality of life of those who suffer from CF. You can find the petition here https://www.parliament.nz/en/petitions/sign/PET_99952
Cheers!
Cystic Fibrosis is cause that is close to my heart. I have witnessed the difficulty of living with it and the amazing people involved in helping those that do. Every little bit helps
