Have completed the Tongariro crossing today in 7 hours and 45 minutes.

Feeling slightly sore but worth the amazing view, and accomplishment!.

I’ve lost two babies last year.

I already have a two year old (nearly three) who was conceived via IVF). We decided for another try, and had one of our 5 embryos transferred. I miscarriage at 4 1/2 weeks. I was devastated. I also had to have the procedure done, alone with Covid happening.

Straight after the miscarriage we fell pregnant naturally. As you can imagine this was a very big shock. I was scared I was going to loose this one too. I had issues throughout, and when we were able to see something on the screen, the baby was not where it was suppose to be. We were crushed.

We had an ectopic pregnancy. We were 7 1/2 weeks. We were rushed to Rotorua hospital where this was removed surgically.

I couldn't bury the first baby, but I could burry this child. No one should ever have to go through this. Its absolutely heartbreaking.

We still have four embryos to collect and bury with their sibling as this heartbreaking journey is over for us.

I reached out to Sands for support as no one really knows what you go through unless experienced this tragedy themselves. I researched and located a support group myself, and Sands are amazing for support. I want to raise a little bit of funds to help them out as they are a not for profit organization and do so much to help bereaved parents like myself.

The money could help with more marketing information at hospitals for parents like me and my hubby, or anything else they need to help bereaved parents.

Please if its a little...if its a lot.... we/they would really appreciate this...
