Kia ora, I'm running the length of the Tongariro crossing, in a suit, to raise money to KidsCan.

I am looking to complete the challenge on the weekend of 18/19th May.

It takes around 6 - 8 hours to walk. I am aiming to run it in under 2hrs. The track is 20kms (basically a half marathon) and includes 1300m elevation. I have walked the track a couple times but this will be my first time running it, also my first long distance mountain run. This is 1 of the 7 Great Walks of New Zealand.

I will be wearing a full suit, complete with button up shirt and tie, and will be filming the challenge on my Gopro. I will be wearing trail runners on my feet. I can't think of anything worse to run in so it should be a hoot. Stay tuned for the video I put together after completing the challenge. I'm sure it will make your donations worth while.

100% of the proceeds go to KidsCan, who provide school lunches, clothing and basic healthcare to Kiwi kids whose families cannot afford these things. They are at the forefront of addressing inequality.

Any support, donations, or sharing of this video is muchos appreciated.

Cheers!
