As the situation in Ukraine worsens by the day, millions of people have been uprooted from their homes. Families continue to flee for safety not knowing where their next meal is coming from or where they will find shelter for their children.
You can help. ReliefAid's Founder is in Ukraine overseeing our emergency response. Our aid deliveries will include medical supplies, food and shelter materials to people left behind in hard to reach places.
Check out ReliefAid's work in conflict zones in Afghanistan and Syria. https://www.reliefaid.org.nz/
With your support we will be able to get emergency aid to the people who need it the most. When everything has been taken from you, humanitarian aid is your only lifeline.
Please give what you can and share this page with family, friends, and colleagues. You can help us extend our networks by sharing our work so we can continue to help families survive this chaos.

A letter from Kyiv... 12 December 2024
Thank you for continuing to support families in Ukraine. The situation is dire and people are tired of living under fire. Kseniya, our team member in Kyiv, expressed her anguish:
"The 3rd year of the war in Ukraine remains extremely challenging.
Living according to electricity schedules has become routine, but it seriously complicates daily life. Work and studies is nearly impossible. Each day is a constant search for solutions to ever-changing conditions.
People are exhausted. While other countries are enjoying the festive season, for us, its daily air raid sirens, constantly refreshing the news and anxious calls to loved ones: “How are you? Are you safe?”. For 3 years, we have been trying to “normalise” life, but the realities of war make it impossible to return to what used to be normal.
In frontline areas, the situation is even more difficult. People are forced to live in what’s left of their homes and to rebuild with the help of volunteers. But they refuse to give up.
Words like “May God protect you” are not just wishes but an acknowledgment of how crucial volunteers are. Moments like these remind us that even in the darkest times, we help people endure and maintain hope for a better future.”
Kseniya’s words capture the profound exhaustion Ukrainians are feeling now, and underscores the critical role of humanitarian aid in their lives. Thank you for your support, your efforts are truly making a difference.
Happy holidays from all of us at ReliefAid.
