ReliefAid is delivering life-saving support to families in Ukraine today.
Grey Lynn, Auckland
As the war in Ukraine enters its fourth year, millions of families are struggling to survive each day.
We have been in Ukraine since the start of the war in 2022. Today, our local team is still working in dangerous, hard-to-reach areas where little support is getting through. Your support helps us provide:
• Emergency home-repair materials to make damaged houses safe, weatherproof and liveable
• Hygiene kits for families living without basic necessities
• Medical support for people with limited access to care
More than 12 million people are expected to need humanitarian assistance in 2026, as missile attacks, displacement and destroyed infrastructure continue to upend daily life.
Please stand with us as we continue to support families to survive the winter, stay in their homes, and endure another day of war.
Thank you for standing with families in Ukraine when they need it most.

An Update From Ukraine! 7 November 2025
Mike Seawright, ReliefAid's founder, is currently in Kharkiv with our team, overseeing the distribution of home repair kits to families whose homes have been damaged by war.
With winter fast approaching and temperatures already dropping, these materials, like winter insulation, putty and essential repair supplies, are helping families make their homes weatherproof before the cold sets in.
“These kits mean the difference between being able to stay in your home or having to leave it,” says Mike. “Every distribution we deliver gives families back a sense of safety. None of this would be possible without the support of people back in New Zealand and around the world.”
Mike reports that families in Ukriane are tired, they are tired of a war that does not seem to be ending anytime soon. Constant missile attacks, and the destruction of energy infrastructure, makes life uncertain and extremely stressful for families across Ukraine.
Thanks to your donations, hundreds of people in frontline areas like Kharkiv are being supported right now. Your humanity is keeping families warm, safe, and together this winter.
