To support Greyhounds as Pets' Annual Appeal I have teamed up with Adoptable Greyhound Novak, to raise some much needed funds for this amazing charity. For every donation of $20 or more you will receive a custom poem written for you from Novak.
In a world of speed, I once did roam,
Novak, the Greyhound, now seeks a home.
Retired from racing, my days now still,
But my heart yearns for a place to fill.
For every twenty, a poem I'll craft,
A token of gratitude, a heartfelt draft.
With each verse penned, my tail wags in glee,
For each donation brings me closer to be free.
Through fields I dashed, swift as the breeze,
Now I dream of warmth and gentle ease.
GAP, the charity, extends its hand,
To find me a place in a loving land.
With every dollar, hope is renewed,
For Greyhounds like me, still awaiting to be wooed.
So open your hearts, let kindness flow,
Help Greyhounds like me find where to grow.
For in your generosity, we see a chance,
To dance into homes with a joyful prance.
Together, we'll make this appeal divine,
For every Greyhound, a star will shine.
With GAP's embrace and your loving aid,
Novak's tale of longing will soon fade.
