Anglican Church of Raukokore Restoration and Preservation Trust

The Trust wishes to restore the Raukokore Church and preserve it for generations to come. Although it looks good from a distance please scroll down to the photos below.

The first steps are:

 To research background of Church in further detail, particularly regarding Heritage status and Heritage NZ requirements, improvement (traffic movement/visitor car parking, fire alarm, sprinkler, water and electrical) implications;

 To develop a Blue Penguin Management Plan as the penguins are ‘toanga’ of the Church

 To complete building condition, safety and seismic assessments

 To evaluate all findings and prepare a Feasibility Report that outlines project objectives/strategy, scope, specialist input needs, quality assurance controls, consultation and compliance requirements, community and funder benefits, funding partner investment proposition/s, targeted high-level project budget recommendation, and likely integrated program.
