Help Southlands hounds, cats, and dogs!
Southland
The Community Desexing Project in Invercargill is responsible for many, many spays and neuters in Invercargill over the last 5 years. The 2 vets and 1 vet nurse running the organisation volunteer their time whilst still working full time jobs. Their dedication and passion is phenomenal. They've only ever charged enough to cover their consumables doing their desexing for very, very little in an effort to provide a service to even the lowest income families in Southland.
Recently, they lost the use of a second anaesthetic machine and consequently need to fundraise for a second one as CDP is entirely not-for-profit....
The Community Desexing Project is a not-for-profit organisation in Invercargill, New Zealand comprised of two vets and a vet nurse who work tirelessly spaying and neutering cats and dogs for members of the public, the local greyhound rescue (Southern Cross Greyhound Adoptions) and the Southland SPCA. They only charge enough to cover their materials donating their time completely freely. They are a registered charity here in New Zealand.
