Please help us to help those in our community who are usually marginalised from society, and need extra care and provision.

With your support we can continue to meet the needs of the elderly, those with intellectual disabilities, and people who are disadvantaged and struggling to get by on low incomes.
This is an opportunity to contribute to the work we do at Delta, providing a caring environment and encouraging community connectedness, inclusiveness and resiliency.
Delta provides practical support for families/whanau and individuals in the lower socio-economic suburb of Richmond, in East Christchurch, assisting them to make real-life changes. Our community services include:
* Food Bank
* Budgeting and Advocacy
* Weekly Cafe and Community Meal
* Cultural Support for Migrant and Refugees (including social English language classes, and an international playgroup)
At 'Friendship Link', we seek to encourage and acknowledge the strengths and abilities of intellectually disabled people, loving, respecting and valuing them for who they are. We provide everyday social opportunities and activities, and empower them by facilitating friendships among their peer groups, and in the wider community.
Many elderly can feel isolated and lonely. Our 'Evergreen Club' is a vibrant and social day programme so these older adults can feel socially connected and cared for. We provide a delicious hot meal each day, fun activities and gentle exercise.
Delta is a community development and social support organisation based in Richmond, Christchurch. Across our three service units we provide services for older adults, for people experiencing disability, and those facing hardship or other disadvantages.
