Gastric Reflux Support Network NZ

Supporting families through sleepless nights, feeding struggles, and reflux challenges with care, guidance, and hope.

Nationwide

For families living with gastric reflux, EoE/EGID, or Laryngomalacia, life can feel relentless. Screaming babies in pain, constant vomiting, food aversions, tube feeding, and months of sleepless nights are all too common — and isolation is real.

Since 2001, Gastric Reflux Support Network NZ has been supporting families across New Zealand with private regional networks, a nationwide Facebook community, fact sheets, and one-on-one guidance. Over 1,500 members rely on our support, and thousands more visit our website, Crying Over Spilt Milk, for advice and reassurance.

Donations give us the flexibility to respond where it matters most — creating resources, supporting families in crisis, and easing daily struggles. Every contribution helps a baby sleep more easily, a parent feel supported, and a family regain hope.

Join us — together, we can make a real difference for families affected by reflux.

Toolbox Parenting Preschoolers Course - for parents of children with medical challenges  9 December 2025

We’re thrilled to announce our adapted Parenting Preschoolers Toolbox course, starting this February, designed specifically for parents of preschoolers with medical conditions like gastric reflux. Parenting a preschooler is challenging enough, but when doctor visits, NG tube feeding, and food aversions disrupt daily life, the stress multiplies. Imagine your child refusing food, carrying their NG tube in a backpack, or coping with pain — it’s heart-wrenching and exhausting.

This course gives parents practical tools, strategies, and support to navigate these challenges, reduce stress, and restore confidence. Families learn to bond, have fun, and feel empowered again — even when life throws the unexpected at them.

Your donation can make a real difference. By giving, you help more parents access this vital course, bringing hope, relief, and confidence to families facing the toughest early years. Every contribution helps a parent feel supported, a child feel comforted, and a family regain their sense of normalcy.

Join us in empowering families — donate today and help make these life-changing tools accessible to those who need them most.
