Supporting families through sleepless nights, feeding struggles, and reflux challenges with care, guidance, and hope.
Nationwide
For families living with gastric reflux, EoE/EGID, or Laryngomalacia, life can feel relentless. Screaming babies in pain, constant vomiting, food aversions, tube feeding, and months of sleepless nights are all too common — and isolation is real.
Since 2001, Gastric Reflux Support Network NZ has been supporting families across New Zealand with private regional networks, a nationwide Facebook community, fact sheets, and one-on-one guidance. Over 1,500 members rely on our support, and thousands more visit our website, Crying Over Spilt Milk, for advice and reassurance.
Donations give us the flexibility to respond where it matters most — creating resources, supporting families in crisis, and easing daily struggles. Every contribution helps a baby sleep more easily, a parent feel supported, and a family regain hope.
Join us — together, we can make a real difference for families affected by reflux.
For families living with gastric reflux, every day can feel overwhelming. At Gastric Reflux Support Network NZ, we provide the support, advice, and understanding that parents need to care for their children with confidence. Your donation helps us offer resources, connect families, and raise awareness — so no one has to face reflux alone. With your support, we can ease worry, improve lives, and make a real difference.
Helping Parents Navigate Medical Pressure, and What’s Next 13 April 2026
We’re really pleased to share that our “Parenting Under Medical Pressure” course will be running again from 6 May. This programme continues to provide practical tools and emotional support for parents navigating the stress of caring for a baby with medical needs. The course is very practical, and parents report feeling relieved that simple tools make a such big difference.
Alongside this, we are working to extend our support even further. We would love to be able to offer online webinars and an online baby massage course, giving parents additional practical ways to support and comfort their babies while also helping them feel less overwhelmed and alone in the process.
We are also continuing to cover essential operational costs that allow us to keep these services running and accessible to families who need them most.
Like many small charities, we are currently operating in a very challenging funding environment. Every contribution — large or small — directly supports our ability to continue and grow this work for families across New Zealand.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who stands with us and helps make this support possible.
A sincere thank you from us to you. We may not always know every name behind a donation, but we do notice when support arrives at just the right moment. Your kindness is deeply appreciated, especially as we navigate a challenging period. Thank you for being part of this with us.
