Guardians of our Children Charitable Trust

Guardians of our Children has been helping parents since September 2015 and became a registered charitable trust in June 2018.

Our work is aimed at helping our children by assisting their parents through the disputes process to reach a peaceful resolution. We are here to help all, but especially those who can't afford family court lawyers or qualify for legal aid. Everyone should have equal opportunity to fight for their children's best interests and welfare. This is why the Guardian of Our Children Charitable Trust was created.

We are New Zealand's first charity created and run by parents who have successfully utilised the family court process to achieve a high level of co-parenting. Along with our trusted professionals, we offer free community education programmes for parents in dispute to help achieve what is in their children’s welfare and best interest.

Our main focus is to help parents navigate the emotional storms of separation and bridge the knowledge gap between guardians and industry professionals. We assist with resolving safety issues and provide valuable guidance around workable interim and final parenting orders. We give you the time and knowledge your lawyer is too busy to give you.
