Happy Newborn

Who are we?

Happy Newborn is a not-for-profit organisation run by an incredible team of volunteers across NZ. We provide newborn starter packs, filled with many of the essential items a baby needs in their first year, and gift them to families in need. Our mission is to support families to give their babies the best start to life.

What do we do?

We collect donations of preloved, hand crafted and sponsored baby items from many generous donors. These items are all lovingly sorted into our packs and then gifted to families who are in hardship via our partners in the community.

How can you help?

Your donation will help us to purchase brand new baby essentials to include in our packs or larger items such as cots and bassinets for babies in real need. You can also help us by donating your excellent quality preloved baby items or, if you love crafting, you could join our amazing crafters group who lovingly create hundreds of baby booties, hats, woolens etc. All gifted for free to babies who are in need.
