We currently assist local Homeless with anything we can from re engaging them into society with simple acts as softball games, having them volunteer in the community and attend appointments with them. We offer hot meals, takeaway food items, clothing, bedding, tents, cooking utensils etc. We assist them once housed with household items, food and ongoing support. We help find jobs, attend course graduations and even help provide work clothing and supply food till payments come in. We take them to the barbers and offer toiletries and interview clothing. Pretty much help with anything and every thing with our motto always being HELP NOT HOOPS.
More about us
We help the Homeless in Christchurch, distributing much needed food and clothing, assisting with housing and jobs. We organise events for them to enjoy and get them helping in the community voluntary while they seek jobs, we assist other organisations who are helping the Homeless too when needed. We attend appointments, help with furniture once housed and offer ongoing support.
