Special Olympics hibiscus coast
We need ongoing funds to enable indiciduals with intellectually disabilities to join in local sports and feel part of the wider community.

Raising special needs individuals costs more in both monetary and emotional terms, and we want to give more opportunities for these vulnerable individuals so that they can participate and grow in a life long pursuit that adds to their health and emotional well being.
Special Olympics Hibiscus Coast is in need of ongoing funds to enables athletes both young and old with intellectual disabilities to train, learn, grow and compete, and to recognize their achievements, as well as provide a safe community for them to develop and grow.
The group almost folded last year due to a lack of backing, but we are devoted to making this work for all intellectually challenged individuals in our area. We need your help.
More about us
We provide sporting opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. They can compete in a supported, caring environment with fellow athletes. It also provides them opportunity to socialize safely.
