We believe our service is ‘top of the cliff’ for each young life, breaking the cycle and ensuring their lives are integrated into society.
Bay of Plenty
At Homes of Hope Charitable Trust we are passionate about delivering the very best foster care services within a strong community. We prevent brothers and sisters from being separated and ensure stability of their care for as long as it is needed when children come into our care within a community setting of homes. Our overall goal is to restore health and wholeness to each child so that they are able to take their place in society – confident, competent and fulfilled.
We provide therapeutic group family home care for at risk children from hard places within the Bay of Plenty in which the children aged 0-12 can be provided a stable and nurturing environment to restore mental, physical and emotional health, building self-worth and self-efficacy to enable them to flourish.
We provide homes for children 24/7/52 weeks of every year. Over the past 5 years we have provided more than 33,000 bed nights. Our children’s homes and head office are all situated together at one site to provide enhanced support for our House Parents, Caregivers and Children.
Our therapeutic wrap-around care, means that the children are able to remain in one placement with us for as long as is needed to ensure they have the opportunity to work through the trauma they have experienced. It is with this internal work and growth, with our support, that sets the tamariki on a pathway for future success.
We are passionate about delivering the very best foster care services within a strong community. We prevent children from being separated from their brothers and sisters and provide stable therapeutic care for as long as a child requires it. Children don't get moved from house to house, we care for them until they are ready to go to their forever homes.
