We are an independent Charitable Trust; approved by Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Justice and Department of Corrections. For almost 35 years we have supported women especially those affected by domestic violence.

We work closely with local communities, agencies, and other organisations to really make a difference for women whose lives are impacted by family violence. We are members of Te Kupenga Whakaoti Mahi Patunga/National Network Stopping Violence Services, Saftinet and The Auckland Coalition for the Safety of Women.

WHAT WE SPECIALISE IN

Supporting survivors of domestic violence.

Offering assertiveness, communication, confidence-building skills and strategies.

Providing parenting support for women affected by domestic violence.

OUR MISSION

➊ Support women through education and empowerment to make good decisions for themselves and family/whānau

➋ Prioritise the safety of women and children, families/whānau

➌ Work in a culturally appropriate manner through acknowledging women's cultures\

➍ Help break the cycle of domestic violence and child abuse

➎ Offer expertise, skills training through the provision of community based services

➏ Provide services that are accessible in terms of time and place.

➐ Offer services that are evidence based.
