Our vision is to help women and their children in northwest Auckland to live free from family violence.Auckland
We stand for a life free from violence, of any kind.
We stand for a world where all people - women, children and men - have the help and resources they need to make the changes to live in safety.
We stand for a community that's prepared to say "family violence is not going to happen on our watch."
We provide emergency refuge for women and children escaping abusive situations. Our staff are also out in northwest Auckland every day, visiting people who have been referred by police, or family or friends or who have contacted us directly.
We see over 300 such clients a year.
The Turning The Tide Fundraising Walk which began in 2017 is our major fundraiser of the year,
Funds raised in 2018 helped employ a male advocate to work with men. Funds from our most recent walk in 2019 will go towards running support groups and more programmes for both men and women on their journey away from family harm.
We're an organisation that's boldly rethinking the model of family violence prevention and we hope you'll support us in our vision for a family-violence free northwest Auckland.
