Kiwi Outreach is all about Kiwis helping Kiwis. Cambridge based helping Cambridge people. Supporting Cambridge High students
Waikato
Kiwi Outreach has evolved since our establishment in Cambridge back in 2013. Our primary focus is now on supporting families facing financial challenges related to school expenses. We provide ongoing sponsorship for students at Cambridge High School, covering costs such as school uniforms, sports equipment, laptops, extramural activities, and more.
In order to ensure that our resources are allocated effectively, we have established a partnership with the Cambridge Community Centre. Applicants must utilize the center's budgeting services as a prerequisite for receiving assistance from Kiwi Outreach. This partnership enables us to direct our funds to those who are most in need.
Our approach is we build a long term relationship, not only with the student but his or her family.
Two important things:
1) we only sponsor Cambridge Highschool students
2) no board member is paid, all funds received goes directly to our student's.
Kiwi Outreach is slightly different: we want to provide struggling families and individuals with basic necessities they can’t afford or put off buying: like new school uniforms, sheets & bedding and essential electrical appliances.
Partnering with Cambridge High School 6 February 2016
We all now how expensive it is for school uniforms and stationary. Cambridge High School has joined with us in a pilot program to assist Cambridge families by referring people to us.
It isn't about helping the poor, it is about Kiwis helping Kiwis.
A helping hand when people are simply struggling!
