    Brightwater School

Year 3 and 4 Students in Room 6 at Brightwater School did their current event about Battens Disease and decided that they wanted to help. They brainstormed and came up with doing a fundraiser at the school by baking cookies and cupcakes and selling them to all the students at the school. We were anxious because we thought we did not have enough baking, but we had plenty! We all really enjoyed learning about and fundraising for Battens Disease. We hope that this money will help towards finding a cure for Battens Disease.
