We are seeking donations, no matter how small, to enable us to continue to support our Eastside tamariki and whanau.
Rotorua, Bay Of Plenty
Rotorua East Lions Club is asking for your support with donations, no matter how small, to provide funds for us to respond quickly to the needs of our Eastside Community, particularly for tamariki and their whanau. With omicron spreading in our community, the number of whanau affected by loss of income and isolation is growing. Help us to help our Eastside whanau.
Lions have continued to provide funds to assist our community since Covid-19 arrived in 2020, particularly to support tamariki and their whanau. Our bank account is running low. Our ability to fundraise has been affected, as many of our annual fundraising events have been cancelled or run on a much smaller scale. Every little donation on this page will help. Together they will make a difference and help us to continue to support our community.
Many of the requests for financial assistance come via Tatau Pounamu, the Piripoho Service and Eastside schools - for emergency food, tamaraiki activity packs as well as funds to assist school teams and rangitahi to attend sports and cultural activities. We have been able to respond immediately in the past and hope to be able to continue that response with your help.
