Help us break the cycle.

Morrinsville, Waikato

Feral and stray cats are on the increase in our community. Each year more and more kittens are coming through this facility and its like a revolving door seeing kittens each year come from the same areas. Most kittens that come to us are in poor health requiring medical attention and nourishment along with many weeks of tender loving care. Morrinsville Cat Rescue is dedicated to saving these precious kittens, worming, flea treatment, vaccinating and desexing before apodting them to loving home. This organisation is run by volunteers, some of whom also work full time. The adoption fee only covers part of the cost of rehabilitating these kittens and we rely on donations and fundraising to cover the costs of cat food, kitty litter, vet expenses and other kitten related goods. Bottle fed babies need special formula to help them survive. Please help us to help them.

More about us

Morrinsville Cat Rescue take in feral kittens found in the community. Kittens are socialized, wormed, vaccinated, microchipped and desexed and adopted out. Adults are caught to stop the breeding cycle.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
