NKRR- Ngā Kaitiaki ō te Rerenga Rauropi

We are a environmental organization based in Palmerston North. We came together out of concern for the state of our urban environments. We are addressing issues such as plastic pollution, habitat loss, and predation on native species.

We are engaging with stakeholders across the board including community, local Iwi, councils and businesses.

We need financial support to facilitate our activities and projects. The following is a list of the activities donations will support.

- Equipment to support our community events for work in streams including rubbish collection, safety equipment, waders, and spades.

- Stream monitoring equipment so we can track our progress over time and engage our community and schools in citizen science.

- Traps and materials to support our Predator Free Awapuni project.

- Support for the NKRR seed raising nursery.

- Planting in the Pioneer Stream.
