Nourish@Christmas is a community group who provide hampers of food to families who are doing it tough at Christmas across the greater Wellington region.

What started out in 2014 as a one-off idea and providing 21 Christmas hampers in the Hutt Valley, has now snowballed and turned into providing 2,000 Christmas hampers of food this year across the Wellington. We are an entirely volunteer run group, and every dollar donated goes straight into providing hampers to families.

Since we started, we've provided hampers to 8,337 families and distributed groceries valued at $1.25m! The hampers are worth around $150 each, so this means for 2025 we needed to fundraise $300,000 to provide this food to families in our region this Christmas.

Every dollar donated takes us one step closer to achieving our goal. Thank you for helping us bring some sparkle to local families at Christmas.
