Burundi New Zealand Healthcare is a charitable association registered with New Zealand Charities Services. The Charities registration number is : CC55225, the charity is identifiable on www.charities.govt.nz
Burundi New Zealand Healthcare has three executive members ; Co ordinator, Public Relations and Cultural adviser.
Currently, the association is supporting a healthcare based in Zone Rugari, Commune and Province Muyinga in Burundi. Burundi is a country member of East Africa.
The clinic was opened on 01st October, 2017 and a milestone has been made. We never unticipated we will operate one year but with your support we did it. We still need your support in order to achieve our main goal: A SUSTAINABLE HEALTHCARE CLINIC IN RUGARI. Specifically, your support will be used to fund: to install a Solar Power so we can stop using torches at night.

The Rugari Burundi NZ Health Clinic has been established to build and maintain an effective primary health care clinic in the township of Rugari. The clinic was created to address a long travel distances and wait all day often simply to be turned away without being seen. Typhoid, Malaria and AIDs are all problems in the area as is Maternal Ante and post natal care for women. It is these acute needs the Clinic is intending to address.
