At The Elephant Trust, we’re addressing the proverbial 'elephant in the room' by helping schools implement KiVa, a world-leading bullying prevention programme that is proven to reduce the incidence of bullying and victimisation.* NZ KiVa Schools student survey results 2014-2024

This year, we’re celebrating 10 years of KiVa in Aotearoa. We have a decade of local student data showing consistent, measurable impact. Schools using KiVa report on average, a 23% drop in bullying within the first year.* Help us celebrate 10 years of impact by ensuring we reach even more tamariki and rangatahi across Aotearoa.

Through KiVa, tamariki learn lifelong skills to stand up for themselves and others; Teachers are provided with practical tools and support to foster inclusive, pro-social classrooms; building safer, more compassionate school cultures rooted in respect and connection.

But right now, just over 2% of schools across the motu are using KiVa and benefitting from the positive impact - we need to reach more tamariki, more rangatahi, more kaiako, more schools. With your help, we can achieve this. Please donate and share.
