The Elephant Trust

Help reduce school bullying in Aotearoa, so all tamariki and rangatahi can thrive.

Nationwide

Bullying hurts. We’ve all experienced it, or seen it. Sadly, bullying still impacts too many children and young peoples’ lives. Let’s create a generation who are no longer harmed by the negative impacts of bullying.

We are a registered charitable trust called the Elephant Trust, which exists to ‘address the elephant in the room’ by providing education to prevent school bullying. We train and support schools and kura to implement an evidence based bullying prevention programme called KiVa.

KiVa is an exceptional programme which provides practical tools for primary and secondary schools to address the high incidence of bullying across Aotearoa. KiVa is proven, both here and internationally, to reduce and prevent bullying, so that children and young people are able to thrive.

Your donation will support our work to ensure schools and kura continue to have access to the tools they need to effectively deal with bullying by equipping students with important social skills, for life.

Bullying impacts too many people across Aotearoa. The time for action to address bullying for our children and young people is well overdue, please help us to take action now.
