We focus on providing access to safe water and sanitation, protecting vulnerable environments and building resilient communities. Our work is delivered with, for and through diverse teams of young people in partnership with local communities. This in turn develops active young global citizens empowered to drive sustainable development.

Since 1984 Raleigh International has inspired over 36,000 volunteers to help build a sustainable future in poor communities, currently in Borneo, Costa Rica and Nicaragua and Tanzania.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
