Parents and Friends of Te Huruhi School, Waiheke Island

Our school is being entirely rebuilt and we must raise funds for the new playgrounds as these are NOT covered by M.o.Education funding.

Auckland

Te Huruhi School is currently undergoing a whole-school rebuild (classrooms, library, office, playgrounds, sports field). We desperately need to raise funds for the new playgrounds for our tamariki as these are NOT covered by Ministry of Education funding - we must raise the funds for all playground equipment and installation ourselves.

From swings, slides, climbing frames and ropes through to bark, concreting, safety barriers and sun shades - all of these things are needed to keep our children safely active, engaged and enjoying their school lives. Please explore our page for fundraising initiatives you can support, and do know that every dollar you donate is received most gratefully by all of us, with much aroha.

It is important to us that both the junior and senior playground areas have equipment appropriate to their age, ability and enjoyment levels. We are investigating suitable options for both areas and look forward to sharing the results with you as we go.

If you'd like to talk with us about corporate sponsorship of some of the playground equipment please contact us on fundraising@tehuruhi.school.nz - we'd love to work with your organisation to facilitate this.
