My journey has been shaped by my own experiences as a wāhine navigating menopause or Ruahinetanga and raising my grandsons. Facing these challenges firsthand showed me how much support, guidance, and practical tools can make a difference not just for me, but for all wāhine and whānau.

This inspired me to create Te Ohomauri Innovations, a kaupapa dedicated to empowering wāhine and supporting grandmothers raising mokopuna. We provide safe spaces, education, and guidance to help women embrace the changes in their bodies and roles, while equipping whānau to navigate government services and build strong, nurturing homes.

Through my work, I’ve seen that connection is everything between generations, within whānau, and to our Māori cultural heritage. By blending ancestral wisdom with practical strategies, we give wāhine and whānau the confidence and tools to thrive.

Every initiative is grounded in one truth: when we strengthen wāhine, we strengthen whānau.
