Te Puna Quarry Park

Te Puna Quarry Park

Te Puna Quarry Park Society, an entirely volunteer organisation developing an amazing public park featuring gardens, walking tracks, outdoo

Bay of Plenty

Providing a magical place everyone can enjoy, where people can exercise, appreciate outdoor sculptures, enjoy the gardens and views. Children with their parents or their school group love this place, where they can learn about butterflies and frogs and plants. People can perform, get married or have a picnic. We are making a wonderful community asset.

In 17 years we have converted a disused overgrown quarry into the amazing place it is today. 32 hectares are still in the process of being transformed and our park is now widely known, loved and appreciated. It is free to enter but we rely on donations and the dedicated work of volunteers. Nobody gets paid here.
