Thames Coastguard is a charitable volunteer organisation saving lives at sea.
Waikato, Thames-Coromandel District
We save lives! Thames Volunteer Coastguard respond to call outs day and night in both emergency and non-emergency situations. We also provide essential education and support in boat and water safety.
All members of our unit are volunteers. They not only provide an essential service but also undertake extensive training and fundraise to keep the service going.
We rely heavily on the support of our community and fundraising to continue operating and maintaining the high standard of service that we have for many years.
