Help the Pupp Project eradicate Parvovirus in New Zealand

Auckland

Parvovirus (Parvo) is a highly contagious virus that kills thousands of puppies & young dogs in NZ each year.

Prevalence is higher in lower socio-economic areas, where financial constraints prevent people from getting their dogs vaccinated.

Our mission is to eradicate parvovirus in New Zealand by raising awareness about vaccination and providing free dog parvo vaccinations to low income families.

By vaccinating a large number of dogs in a community, "herd immunity" can be achieved, leading to a reduction in the spread and risk of parvovirus.

About us

The PUPP Project stands for 'People Uniting to Prevent Parvovirus'. We are a group of volunteer vets, vet nurses and dog lovers whose aim is to reduce the spread of Parvovirus in New Zealand. We are a registered NZ charity.

Use of funds

All money raised will go toward the cost of vaccinating dogs at one of our free vaccination events
