The Trust runs Wairarapa Boxing Academy, which became a member of the Billy Graham Youth Foundation (BGYF) in February 2018. BGYF is a nationally respected organisation with a proven track-record in youth development with the avowed mission of empowering our youth to be the best that they can be.

The Trust uses boxing as a mechanism for youth development; not only to provide a physical outlet, but to offer a safe space, meaningful social interactions, positive role models, supportive mentors, rules, discipline, and a place for learning.

Everything we do is underpinned by the eight values which make up our ‘Passport To Success,’ Respect, Responsibility, Compassion, Consideration, Kindness, Duty, Obedience and Honesty and Truthfulness and all our members are required to adhere to these principles.

These values are fundamental to our purpose and they are discussed in a practical way during our work with our youth.
