Northland

The new facilities for the Kiwi and other native species will enable visitors and school students to observe the creatures in natural surrounds while finding out more about the conservation issues that relate to the preservation of these unique species.

We have already raised 85% of the $1 million we need to complete Stage 1. Your donation will go towards the shortfall. Those who are able to donate $50 or more will be recognised in our 'Kiwi Rock' campaign and their name will be engraved on a plaque on boulders which will be placed by the new entrance.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
