Youthline Central South Island

Youthline makes a difference by providing a free professional phone, text and web counselling service 24/7

Canterbury

Youthline CSI makes a difference by giving young people support when and how they need it. We provide a free professional phone, text and web counselling service 24/7, with counsellors trained to respond to any issue.

Youthline helps with issues facing young people today, such as, depression, suicide, drug and alcohol, bullying, relationship problems, family dysfunction, earthquake stress and more.

Our volunteer counsellors are mostly young people who want to help to make a positive difference in the lives of other young people. Youthline offers the opportunity for these volunteers to develop their own leadership potential.

Youthline CSI has been supporting young people for over 50 years. We have helped thousands through our free helpline and through the support books we produce and distribute throughout the community.

Our counsellor training programme is well-respected in the psychology and counselling communities and many of our volunteers become long-serving "Youthliners" with an enduring dedication to community service.
