Participating in Mount Everest Challenge 2026

Bay of Plenty

Vinnie and Cowboy are taking on the Mount Everest Challenge 2026 to raise funds for the Bay of Plenty Youth Development Trust — a kaupapa that sits close to our hearts.

We’re proud to be part of the Originals, the group who helped bring this Trust to life in its early days. We’ve seen firsthand how much it means for our community, our whānau, and especially our rangatahi.

Cowboy continues to give back as a mentor to our rangatahi, supporting them to grow confidence, resilience, and belief in themselves. This challenge is another way we can stand behind the next generation and keep the momentum strong.

Every step up Mauao is for them — for their futures, their opportunities, and their potential.

If you’re able to support, donate, or share our journey, it all helps fuel the mahi of the Bay of Plenty Youth Development Trust.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
