I Have a Dream staff, Dreamers (programme participants), Whānau, schools, supporters and community members are combining forces to create the ultimate Dream Team for the 2025 Classic 100.
We want to set a positive example around the importance of health, wellbeing and being physically active for the kids that we work with, their families, and our community. We also want to acknowledge, celebrate and amplify the incredible support we are receiving through this event by being actively engaged alongside all other participants.
We welcome anyone to join our team! We love to meet new people and connect with others.
You don't need to be in Northland to participate, wherever you are if you're keen to get out and cover some miles this March, walk alongside I Have a Dream and help us raise funds to continue to inspire dreams and enable bright futures for our kids through wraparound education support, like skills and interest-focussed opportunities that help each child reach their full potential.

Support me as I walk 100kms this March 3 March 2025
Hi my name is Whaea Nix, I am the Year 0-4 Navigator at Te Kura o Otangarei. I decided to take on the Classic 100 and walk 100kms across the month of March to challenge myself, as well as my whānau, my Dreamers and my kura whānau to be more active and healthy.
After completing the Beach to Basin on Sunday March 2nd I am more motivated than ever to get out and about, and take on more physical challenges that help support positive wellbeing.
