Help us to fundraise with and for our players for the upcoming 2019/2020 season which sees our squad participating in 2 international tours
International
The BLINDCAPS have 2 international events scheduled for the 2019/2020 season - our biggest season yet.
Inbound - Bangladesh
We’ll be taking on Bangladesh in November 2019 where we’ll be playing 5 x T20’s and 1 x OD. 3 of our matches will be at Blake Park, Tauranga and 3 will be in Rotorua.
Outbound - South Africa
We’ll be travelling to Cape Town, South Africa for 5 x T20’s and 2 x OD’s. We’ll be there for 2 weeks in February 2020.
In total players will be paying $5,000 each (plus training costs) for the 2 tours... a huge cost on its own let alone adding in our player costs to take part in our domestic blind cricket comp.
Your donation would go a long way to helping our players with the costs associated with these tours which are a build up to the 2021 T20 Blind Cricket World Cup being held in England.
We do our best to try not having finances be the reason an individual doesn’t participate... help us make that a little easier for our players.
We are the governing body of Blind Cricket in New Zealand.
We oversee the day to day running of blind cricket across the country as well as being NZ's representative body to the World Blind Cricket Limited who have an affiliation of 10 countries.
Funds will be used to help with player costs for the 2 tours. This includes, travel, accommodation, insurance, playing kit, meals, promotional activities and costs towards officials
