Running For Africa
Our aim as a family is to raise funds to go towards The Girl Project in Kenya.
Auckland
1983 was the last time the 3 of us ran in the Round the Bays. This time we're doing it to raise funds for The Girl Project in Kenya. Sharon is based in Kenya overseeing the project, brothers Dave and Rob have been roped in to help exceed the goal.
Each month, girls in the Kibera Slum, Nairobi meet up with Sharon and her team to get life coaching by Kenyan business women, workshops, study skills, career advice and to receive a health pack.
All three of us have daughters who've grown up in a country where there is little need. Now we're running for other girls whose parents live on $2 a day.

About us
BeyondWater is a not-for-profit organization working across East Africa. Our focus is on ensuring schools, medical clinics, childrens home and remote communities have access to safe, clean drinking water and sanitation facilities.
These include deep bore wells, guttering, water tanks, hand washing facilities, toilets and health education programmes.
BeyondWater is registered as a trust both in New Zealand and Kenya, and as a charity in Australia.
