Auckland

BeyondWater is an organisation working in East Africa to help alleviate poverty through the provision of clean drinking water and sanitation. Check them out (www.beyondwater.org.au) and see their work. To date they've helped over 100,000 people in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania.

Beyond Water Trust's involvement (page creator)

I'm involved because I'm tired of 5,000 children dying a day from waterborne diseases. I'm over girls from poor families spending 30% of their year out of school because they don't have sanitary products. I'm a volunteer trying to make a difference.

About us

BeyondWater is a not-for-profit organization working across East Africa. Our focus is on ensuring schools, medical clinics, childrens home and remote communities have access to safe, clean drinking water and sanitation facilities.

These include deep bore wells, guttering, water tanks, hand washing facilities, toilets and health education programmes.

BeyondWater is registered as a trust both in New Zealand and Kenya, and as a charity in Australia.
