Funeral Service for Stephen Thorpe
To provide a fitting send-off for a beloved member of the community.

The recent passing of our beloved colleague and friend Stephen Thorpe has come as a sudden and devastating shock to the Blockhouse Bay community. The Whau River Catchment Trust and the Blockhouse Bay Tennis Club are raising funds for Stephen's funeral service to be held on Monday 2nd September 2024.
About us
The Whau River Catchment Trust and it's affiliated volunteer group, Friends of the Whau, has been operating for 23 years in total and have gained the respect and support of the community, Auckland Council and other environmental groups.
Use of funds
Funds will go towards covering Stephen's funeral service. Any excess funds will go towards a commemorative native tree planting in 2025 and/or improving security around the tennis club grounds. within the Blockhouse Bay Recreational Reserve.
