Raising Funds for Bible Translation
Together we can help bring God's Word to people in their own language.

Bible Society volunteers are organising two walkathon events during October. Timaru & Geraldine volunteers are organising a Church Heritage walkathon event on the 29th and Whakatane volunteers will have their annual walkathon event on the 30th of October.
Funds raised from both events will help support translators and volunteers as they work to bring the Bible to people in their heart language.

We are a charity dedicated to helping make the Bible accessible to everyone and encouraging interaction with it. We do this by working with the whole Christian church.
Bible Society was established in New Zealand in 1846 and is a member of the United Bible Societies (UBS), a global network of Bible Societies operating in more than 200 countries and territories. Bible Societies co-operate to make the Bible available to people everywhere in a language they can understand and at a price they can afford.
We are a donor-supported organisation that depends on the prayers and financial support of Christian individuals and churches in New Zealand.
