Help young people and children living with Tourette Syndrome, and their families, attend Camp Twitch 2021.
Nationwide
Camp Twitch 2021 is not just happening once this year - for the first time ever there are two camps which means twice the fun and twice the number of attendees.
Due to unprecedented demand in 2020 the Tourette's Association of NZ is now hosting one camp specifically for young people aged 13-21 years; and another for families raising a child with Tourette Syndrome.
The level of stress that covid-19 put on teenagers has seen a huge increase in diagnosis of Tourette Syndrome or a Tic Disorder - often accompanied by depression and stress-related seizures.
This has adversely affected families too so Camp Twitch is a much anticipated event for everyone.
Your support will help more families and young to attend Camp Twitch 2021 in Christchurch and Ngaruawahia respectively.
Thank you.
We offer peer support for children, adults and parents of those with Tourette Syndrome. We also administer a website and provide information services for those with TS as well as schools if necessary.
Funds raised will help to cover the cost of accommodation, meals, travel and activities for Camp Twitch. Any surplus will be held over for Camp Twitch 2022.
